This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and handled by the Social Video Pipeline ("SVP", "we", "us", or "our") application. SVP is a desktop application designed to automate video processing, cropping, and publishing to social media platforms.

1. Information We Collect

SVP is a local desktop application. We do not operate a central server, and we do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data or video content on our servers.

When you use SVP, the application processes data locally on your device. To function, SVP requires access to certain third-party services:

• OAuth Tokens and Credentials: To upload videos on your behalf, SVP requests authorization to your social media accounts (including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X). The authentication tokens generated by these platforms are stored securely and strictly locally on your device (using Windows Credential Manager or a local encrypted file, depending on your settings).
• Video Content: Your video files, images, and metadata (titles, descriptions, tags) are processed locally on your machine and uploaded directly from your machine to the respective social media platforms via their official APIs.

2. How Your Information is Used

The data processed by SVP is used exclusively for the core functionality of the application:

• To authenticate you with third-party social media platforms (e.g., TikTok).
• To upload, schedule, and publish video content to your connected social media accounts, according to your explicit instructions within the application.
• To process video files locally (e.g., generating portrait cuts, transcribing audio, creating thumbnails).

We do not have access to your authentication tokens, video content, or usage data. Your data never leaves your device except when being transmitted directly to the social media platforms you have chosen to connect.

3. Third-Party Services

SVP interacts directly with the APIs of third-party platforms. By authenticating SVP with these platforms, you are subject to their respective Privacy Policies and Terms of Service:

Because SVP stores your data locally, the security of your authentication tokens and video files relies on the security of your local operating system. We recommend keeping your device secure with strong passwords and up-to-date security software.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Since SVP does not collect your contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes. Any updates will be reflected in this document, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly.
